• Hydro-Geological Survey: Our professional geologists conduct hydro-geological surveys prior to water-drilling to ascertain suitable sites for exploration of significant quantities of groundwater. We use the resistivity method to assist in the assessment of geological sub surface conditions; through Vertical Electrical Sounding (V.E.S) and Horizontal Electrical Profiling (H.E.P) Our hydro-geological surveys include;- always conduct a Preliminary desk study using geological maps, topographical maps, aerial photographs and review of existing data . Site reconnaissance and site mapping. Geophysical studies and field tests. We have sets of ABEM Tarrameters SAS 1000 the PASI Resistivity Meter. We have the know how, with the right methodology, tools, skills and field experience ensuring quality service for our clients.
• Geo-Technical Investigations: We offer geophysical surveys for hydropower projects development, oil exploration, water exploration, road works, among others. We have state of the art seismographs and are associated with major international geophysical firms. We conduct the following geophysical surveys: Seismic refraction surveys, Seismic reflection surveys, Electrical resistivity surveys
• Geo-Physical Survey: Under the Geo-technical Investigation field, MK Engineering conducts site investigations for projects such as hydropower projects, roads and bridges, buildings, quarries.
